(Anbil Ramaswamy) ============================================================= 29. parAnkusa, parakAla, bhaktisAra, kulasEkhara, sri vishNuchittha, munivAhana Adhi munivara divya prabandha thAthparya prapancha paritOshitha budhajana/ (Meaning) You have delighted erudite scholars by your manner of elucidating the implied inner meanings of the Divya Prabandhams of great Azhwars like Parankusa, ParakAla, BhaktisAra, KulasEkara, SrivishNuchittha, TiruppAnazhwar and others. NOTE: As the members would be aware of the various works of Azhwars, the names of the works are not given here. 30. amrita-ranjani, adhikAra-sangraha, amrita-swAdhini, para-matha-bhanga, parama-pada-sOpAna, mei-vratha-mAnmiya, tri-ratna-gAthA (MummaNI-kkOvai), sri-vaishnava-dinasari, artha-panchaka-sangraha, sri-chinha-mAlA (Tiru-chchinna-mAlai), geethArtha-sangraha-gAthA, saraNAgathi-gAthA (ADaikkala-ppathu), dwAdasa-nAma-gAthA (panniru-nAmam), moola-mantra-gAthA, dwaya- gAthA, charama-slOka-sangraha-gAthA, AahAra-niyama-gAtha, gutikA-gAthA (ammAnai), kubErAkshi-gAthA (kazhal), kandhuka-gAthA (pandhu), parihAsa -gAthA (yesal), dOLO-gAthA (Oosal), nava-ratna-mAlA, prabhandha sAra - Adhi anEka divya prabhandha nirmANa pari thOshitha varada prasAda labda vara guna bhooshitha vardAchArya sath puthra / (Meaning) You are the virtuous son of Sri Varadacharya and the recipient of the grace of Lord VaradarAja who is delighted with your holy outpourings Note: As the names of these various other Tamizh prabhandhams of SwAmi Desika, are in the text portion, they are not repeated in the meaning portion. 31. sAparAdha lakshmanArya durvarNa suvarna karaNa prakaTithA agaTithA gaTanA sAmarthya / (Meaning) You performed the impossible task of curing the discoloration of LakshmanArya (due to an ApachAram committed towards you) and transforming him to shine with golden splendor. 32. brahmaTantra swatantra yOgi, prabhAkara yOgi, navaneetha narthaka yOgi, varadAchArya, rAmAnuja,- prabruthi sath sishyOpathishta trayyantha yugaLa sArasArAdhi sath rahasya jAtha/ (Meaning) You imparted the esoteric meanings of the Vedas to deserving yOgic disciples like- Brahmatantra-Swatantra, PrabhAkara, Navaneetha-narthaka, VaradAchArya, RAmAnuja and many others. 33. sudarsana-soori virachitha srutha-prakAsikA pari-rakshaNa pari-sodhana prathi-pAdhana pari-bruTa/ (Meaning) You carefully protected, critically reviewed and clearly explained the contents of "Srutha prakAsika", the great work of Sudarsana Soori. 34. yathipathi parichitha yadhavAchala vAsi nArAyaNa charanAmbuja sEvA samhrishta mAnasa/ (Meaning) You took delight in serving the lotus feet of Sriman NArAyana, the one who resides in YadhavAchala known to the great yathis of yore. 35. sva nirmithA adhisayitha Ananda divya prabhandha pravarthana rasabhara neetha satha samvatsara/ (Meaning) You lived a hundred years engaging yourself in the enjoyment of the nectar of the wonderful divine works of your AchAryas. 36. sarasija sadrusa charaNa yugaLa/ (Meaning) Your feet are like the blooming lotus flowers. 37. vyAkhyA mudrA pusthaka bhooshaNa bhooshitha karadwaya/ (Meaning) You hold the holy book and the gesture of explaining the contents. Thus, both your hands are adorned and bedecked. 38. vimalOpaveetha su utthareeya, thulasi nalina akshamAlA virAjitha visAla vakshasthala/ (Meaning) You wear the immaculate and sacred thread in Upaveetham, the auspicious upper cloth, the beads of the sacred basil seeds - all adding to the enchanting splendor of your broad chest. 39. poornEndhu sama vadhana/ (Meaning) Your face shines like the full moon. 40. lasadh oordva pundara/ (Meaning) You sport prominently the upward directed holy marks on your forehead and other parts of your body (indicative of your Paramaikantitvam as a Srivaishnava belonging to Lord Vishnu) 41.dinakara sannibha divya mangaLa vigrahOjjwala/ (Meaning) Your divine body shines equal to the brilliance of Sun. 42. sri ranganAtha padha kamala niranthara anubhava nirathisaya Ananda paripoorna manOratha/ (Meaning) You are the one who has realized fully and eternally the unparalleled enjoyment of the lotus feet of Lord Ranganatha and thus have your desires completely fulfilled. 43. visuddha vidyA vibhushaNa/ vibhutha jana nAtha / (Meaning) You are adorned with perfect and blemishless knowledge. You are verily the Lord of men of wisdom. 44. vEnkaTanAtha! mama nAtha! namastE! NamastE! Namah! (Meaning) Oh! Venkatanatha! Oh! My Lord~ I salute you again and again. 45. namah padMaksha pouthrAya! namo ananthArya soonavE! Namo varada nAthAya ! vEdAnthAchArya sooraye/ (Meaning) Salutations to you Oh! Grandson of PadmAksha !
