Dear BhakthAs : In the Paasurams 27-29 of URM ,

Sri MM celebrates the greatness of AchArya RaamAnujA .

Paasuram 27: The greatness of RaamAnujA's birthday

***************************************************

inRu ulahIr Chitthirayil yEntha ThiruvAthirai naaLL

yenRayilum inRu ithanakku yERRam yenn thaann--yenRavarkku

naaRRisayum koNDAdum naaLL

(Meaning ): Oh people of the World! The constellation

of ThiruvAthirai is in ascendance in the blessed month

of Chitthirai . This day is more glorious than other days .

For those, who query why adiyEn says so , here is my response:

It is because of this day being the one , when people in all

four directions celebrate with joy , the birth of our YathirAjan .

Paasuram 28: Why is EmperumAnAr's birthday So Important ?

AzhwArkaL thAnkaL avatharittha NaatkaLinum

vaazhvAna naaLL namakku maNNulahIr -yEzh paarum

uyya yethirAsar utthittharuLum --chitthirayil

seyya ThiruvAthirai

(meaning ): Oh People of this earth ! If you were to ask me

which day is more important than that of all the AzhwArs ,

adiyEn would point out the Chittirai ThiruvAthirai , when

YathirAjAr incarnated for the upliftment of all mankind.

(Comments): AzhwArs blessed us with Dhivya Prabhandham only.

to that extent , the AzhwArs are 'biological mothers" for

those prabhandhams . AchArya RaamAnujA is like a foster mother

fro those Prabhandhams and nourished them with great care

and raised them to be great ones . Thus the greatness of

RaamAnujA as the one responsible for the growth of the glory of

the Prabhandhams is even greater than that of the AzhwArs ,

who just gave birth to them . Even in his own time on

this earth ,RaamAnujA was deservedly praised with the

following two salutations:

" Tamizh maRaikaL Aayiramum yeenRa muthal Thaai SatakOpan,

moympAl valarttha Thaai IrAmAnusan "

and

" YengaL gathiyE RaamAnusa MuniyE ! sankai kedutthu

aaNDa tavarAsA ! Ponku puhaz Mangayar kOn yeentha

maRai Aayiram anaitthum tangu manam nee yenakkutthaa ".

Paasuram 29: Glory of RaamAnujA's birthday :Prayer to MM's mind

***************************************************************

Yenthai YathirAsar ivvulahil yem tamakkaa

vanthu uthittha naaLL yennum vaasiyinAl--intha

ThiruvAdhirai tannin seermai tanai nEnjE

oruvaamal YeppozhuthumOr

(Meaning ): Oh My Mind ! Please reflect unceasingly about

the special glory of this day , Chitthirai ThiruvAdhirai,

when our revered AchAryan incarnated on this earth for

our ujjeevanam (succor , sustenance and upliftment ).

(Comments) : The Nithyasoori, AdhisEshan incarnated on

this samsAric earth , while abandoning his nithya kaimkaryam

to His Lord in Sri Vaikuntam . He incarnated in this world

full of three kinds of SamsAric afflictions for blessing us ,

the nithya samsAris , by giving his helping hand to

lift us out of the terrifying ocean of samsAram

to become muktha Jeevans qualified to serve the Lord

in His Parama padham .

Thrice , MM salutes the greatness of the avathAra

dinam of Achaarya RaamAnujA and declares thrice

that there is no other day that matches in its

glory Chitthirai ThiruvAdhirai .This is almost like

saying "sathyam Sathyam idham Sathyam " regarding

the greatness of this day to doubters.
