Guest guest
Namo Narayana Last evening i heard the following from my sister, and was so overwhelmed with joy, that i thought it would only be fitting to share this with other bhagavathas. As all of us are aware, HH Srimad Azhagiya Singar has put every eager and interested bhagavatha in a state of trance with his excellent upanyasams on Andal's Thirupaavai. About 4-5 days back, my sister and her husband saw this elderly Srivaishnavite Mami (Lady, although i prefer Mami), attend the upanyasam and wait for the bus to get back home. Since they saw her a couple of days they offered to give her a ride back, since she happened to live near their place. Following their getting to know each other session, this Mami asked my sister if HH would perform Bharanyasam to a Thengalai sampradhayam person. My sister asked some kainkaryaparals of Sri Matam, just to confirm, and HH was more than happy perform the same the very next day. The Mami was excited and her Bharanyasam was performed. It also happened to be the 29th day of Marghazi, and when HH explained the beautiful "sittram-siru kale" paasuram, and specifically the last two lines... " Urrome aavom unakke naam aatcheyvom marrai nam kamangal maarelor embavaay" the Mami burst out crying, when she realized that she had her Bharanyasam performed on the most important day, where Andal and the aayarpadi girls request for eternal service to HIM, and which also happens to be a critical aspect of SriVaishanavam. Since members are aware of the beauty and meaning of this passuram, i do not wish to elaborate any further. This may only be yet another event, but the impact the entire sequence of events has on one's mind is truly phenomenon. Strange are the ways how Perumal fulfills the wishes of his dear ones. Maybe this is a good example of how HE will fulfill our wishes that are not materialistic oriented. All that the Mami wanted was to have the Bharanyasam performed, but what she got was more than her request. A simple wish but a priceless reward. Also goes to show that the Acharyan is always eagerly waiting to help rescue and guide us towards HIM. Afterall when it comes to surrendering to HIM, kalai is a non-issue. Blessed are those who worship HIM and Blessed are they who seek refuge in HIM Andal ThiruVadigale Saranam Srimad Azhagiya Singar Thiruvadigale Saranam adiyen, ramanuja dasan (srinivasan) ------ Srimate Sri Laksminrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikaya Nama
