Dear Bhagavathas,

Last week, my family and I returned from what has been one of our

most spiritually fulfilling journeys to India. I have been

meaning to write to this list sooner, but the flu bug finally

caught up with me on the flight back, and I am just now getting

back to the routines.

I have been avidly reading Sri Sadagopan's wonderful synopsis of

his experiences in India. While I did not visit all of the

places that he did or experience what he has, I can certainly

connect to the inspired mood of his writings. It seems that

every time I close my eyes, I can see the beauty of the Lord at

one of His divya dEshams or abhimAna sthalams that we have

visited.

Many will be familiar with the more famous divya dEshams that we

visited, but I would like to share with all of you in a future

posting information on two very beautiful kshetrams dedicated to

Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan in AP that we had the opportunity to see

this time. This posting will seek to add to Sri Anand

Vangipuram's postings on Ahobilam as part of our now continuing

series on the abhimAna sthalams of Andhra Pradesh.

Before I do that, though, I would like to take this opportunity

to express my sincere thanks to the bhAgavathas in this list that

made our visit to India a most memorable experience:

Melkote:

Dr. M A Alwar and his esteemed parents, Smt and Sri Lakshmi

Thathacharya

Chennai:

Smt and Sri T V Venkatesh and his parents

Smt and Sri T A Sampath

Sri V Srimahavishnu

Kanchipuram:

Sri Parthasarathy

Hyderabad:

Sri A Narayanan

Sri Sundar
