Sri Srinivasa Temple renovation

I saw this advertisement in THE HINDU (dated Mar19 2000, last page) and I am

forwarding this so that people willing can contribute for this noble cause.

Sri Vedanta Desika Dharsana Sabha has taken up the activity of renovating Sri

Padmavathy Thayar Samedha Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple. The renovation work

involves construction of Raja Gopuram, revamp of temple painting, electrical

wiring, and jeernodharana. The cost for this is expected to be around 10 lakhs.

Dear members,

One of the members, Sri Raghu wants to know where the Sri Srinivasa temple is

located in Chennai (Perungalathur). Since I only saw the ad in the paper and

forwarded the same to the list, I don't really know the details. I request the

other members who may be based in Chennai to respond to Sri Raghu.
