Guest guest
Thiruvengada Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam. Dear Bhagavatas, namaskar. Thanks to Sriman Mohan Sagar for forwarding the appeal of Sriman Ramanujacharyulu garu to the list. The Sabha has done excellent kainkaryams yesteryear for swami Nammalwar by publishing a book on his Srisooktis and also celebrating His Thirunakshatram in a very grand manner at Emebrumanar Temple, Narsapur, A.P., famous as "abhinava bhUtapurI" (another Sriperumbudur). Before starting up any new kainkaryam, the Sabha necessarily seeks the blessings of His Holiness Vanamamalai Ramanuja Jeeyar swami varu and His Holiness Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar swamivaru. Sriman K.S.Ramanujacharyulu garu of Nellore is the President of the Sabha and Sriman N.V.L.N.Ramanujacharyulu garu of Pentapadu, to whom sometimes I refer in my emails to the list, is the secretary. Also the Sabha has the blessings of Acharay Purushas like Sriman P.B.Rajahamsam of Kanchi, Sriman Thirumalai Anandanpillai Krishnamacharyulu (Tirupati), Sriman K.T.Ramanujacharyulu, Nellore (administrator of Vanamamalai Mutt, Nellore branch), famous Sanskrit scholar Sriman J.Satakopacharyar of Nanguneri (Vanamamalai). One of the main aims of the Sabha is to expose the devotees of AP to the excellent works of Srimad Vedanta Desikar and other Vadagalai Acharyars. Already Abheeti stavam and part of lakshmI sahasram (authored by Venkatadhvari) are translated and commented in detail. The secretary fo the sabha Sriman Ramanujacharyulu garu has enthusiastically taken up several kainkaryams and completed them successfully with the mangalasasanams of H H Srimannarayana Jeeyar swami varu. the sabha is yet to raise some working capital, for which I will invite u all to join as members in future. Right now, as Sriman Mohan has informed all of us, the Sabha plans to bring out a beautiful book on Thirumangai Alwar with articles from exponents of Divya Prabandham in Telugu, Tamil, English and Sanskrit and also to celebrate Alwar's Thirunakshatram this year in a very grand manner at Narsapur Emberumanar temple. Hence I appeal to you all to support this kainkaryam by contributing generously to the Sabha. thanks and regards dasanudassan VISHNU Send FREE Greetings for Father's Day--or any day! http://www.whowhere.lycos.com/redirects/fathers_day.rdct
