Guest guest
Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha: Dear Members. We are pleased to announce the first Tele-Upanyasam to be given by Vidwan Sri Velukkudi Krishnan Swamin. Following is the information about the Bridge number and access code. I apologize for the late notification and looking forward to many of you tuning in this evening. We hope to make this lecture series a regular event twice a month. Date of call: 7/29/2000 (Saturday in US) & July 30, 2000 (Sunday in India) Starting time of call: 5:30 pm PST (8:30 PM EST) 6:00 AM Indian Time Conference number: 405-244-5555 Access code: 7661# Agenda: 1. Intriduction 2. Lecture: Sri Periyavaccan Pillai's Ramayana Tanislokam. approx duration (1 1/2 to 2 hours) 3. Q/A Session General Instructions 1. To join the conference call, dial the conference number at the start of the call. There will be a few seconds of silence, followed by a voice prompt asking you to enter the 4-digit access code followed by the # sign. 2. After entering the code, you are automatically connected into the conference. You may announce yourself to the group at this point if you wish. 3. During the call, you may mute your own line by pressing *6. To speak, press *6 again to unmute the line. When you are not speaking, it's advisable to mute your line to ensure maximum clarity on the call. 4. Pressing *4 activates the volume boost feature. To return to normal volume level, press *4 again. 5. Rarely, a caller may experience long-distance connection difficulties, such as a fast busy signal or message saying "All circuits are busy" when dialing into the conference line. This problem does not originate within the conferencing system. You may simply re-dial the number to try to complete the call. If you have repeated problems, try using any standard long-distance calling card. Alternately, you may use one of the following dial-around sequences: 1010636 + 1 + Area Code + Number (ClearChoice Communications - 5 cents per minute) 1010834 + 1 + Area Code + Number (Penny Plan - 9 cents per minute) This method will route your call through the alternate long-distance carrier shown. The charges will appear on your local telephone bill. 6. We recommend that conference participants use normal land lines for the call. Cellular phones, cordless phones, and Internet-based telephone access may cause echoing, crackling, or other sound quality degradation on the line. Adiyen Venkatesh K. Guest guest
Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha: dear members I forgot to include the following regarding the Tele-Upanyasam 1. The cost per person will be between $5 - $10 This is in addition to the long distance charge that you may incur as per your long distance calling plan. 2. Please send me an email, if you log on. 3. The number is listed in Oklahoma. However, if you are a resident of OK with an area code 405, you still have to call the number as a long distance number thanks Adiyen Venkatesh K Elayavalli http://www.srivaishnava.org
