On the same day, Pattabhishekam was conducted for Lord Sri Kodandaramar under the divine grace of HH Sri Sampathkumara Jeeyar of Yadugiri Yathiraja Matham who was present at the divine ocassion. We expected a turn out of about 100 - 200 bhaktas since it was a sunday morning. We did purchase about 600 plantain leaves for the sake of prasadam distribution for the event in the morning and Garudotsavam ( which was a Kainkaryam by Sri B.Ramdasappa and Family) in the evening. But to our surprise a large congregation of about 750 - 800 bhaktas were present throughout the ocassion. We had to rush to the city market to purchse extra 250 plantain leaves. The event started at around 10:00 AM IST. We expected the event to end by 12:00 PM. Not surprisingly the event ended at 3:30 PM. Prasadam distribution alone took about 2 hours! For the Brahotsavam which was held during March - April 2000, atleest 1500 - 2000 bhaktas were present throughout. Evening at around 7 PM, Garudotsavam ( Mantapadi Seva at the residence of Sri.B.Ramdasappa & Famiy) was held. The event ended at around 10 PM. Sri Nathamunigal Thirunakshatram was also held parallelly. adiyen sri malola narasimha dasan, Malolan Cadambi.
