Prathistapanotsavam is celebrated yearly at every Sri Vaishnava Temples. Let me elaborate on Prathistapanotsavam. 'Prathistha' means consecrate. On this day,98 years back,Sri Venugopala Krishnaswamy was consecrated at this temple. As such prathistapanotsavam is held every year to mark this day. adiyen prays to lord Sri Venugopala to shower his divine grace on all bhaktas.
