Guest guest
Dear Bhaktas, I have learnt that in the Upadesha Mudram (or Gyana Mudram or Vyakhya Mudram), Advaitins raise only one finger to denote that only brahman is real, where as the Dvaitins the first and middle fingers to denote that Jeevatma and Paramatma are different. In our sampradayam, I have leant that right hand thumb finger as well as the first finger are together, denoting seperateness and yet togetherness of the Jeevatma and Paramatma and the rest three fingers indicate the tatwas of Vishishthadvaitam - namely Chit, Achit and Eshwara. *Please note that any mis-interpretation or mis-understanding of the Upadesha mantram is only due to my limited intelligence and my ignorance.* My doubt is; why are the three tatwas held seperatley when the Jeevatma represents the chit and Paramatma represents Eshwara.? adiyen sri malola narasimha dasan, Malolan Cadambi. _______ Get your free @ address at
