Guest guest
Asmad gurubhyo namah Srimathe Srivan Shatagopa Sri Vedanta Desika Yatindra Maha Desikaya Namaha Srimathe Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Shatagopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Maha Desikaya Namah. Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Parabhramhane Namah Apologies, since I am posting this late. On the tirunakshatram of this great acharya, I would like to just express my gratitude for having provided me the real wealth of my life - ie. Prapatti. Having born an unknown number of times, it is a pleasure to have a sigh of relief that such an endless cycle of rebirths is a thing of past due to the divine grace of my acharya - Srimad Azhagia Singar. I was thinking how can anyone thank an acharya who takes pity and guarantees attainment of paramapadam, the ever blissful place where nityas and muktas rejoice without even a stain of this blemish of carnal existence. There is no person on this earth who can repay the help done by his acharya. This Acharya- Disciple relationship is the most auspiscious one. I am shocked at the very thought - " what if such a relationship is not here on this earth". What would anyone do without an acharya. It is not a simple meeting you have with an acharya. Due to some unknown punyas and blessings of that madusudhana, one gets to meet an acharya. Even for so many who meet an acharya, fail to recognize that person and the real value and upakaram such an acharya does to us. It is really a pity that one whiles away one's life without acharya sambandam - a relationship without which all this life is just a form of mrityu or death. Only when one understands the value of "surrender", one can understand that Acharya is nobody else but the Divine Lord who has come to us in a human garb just to deliver us. One can appreciate this fact if one ponders about how many apacharams and "rules and regulations of the shastras", one transgresses every day and inspite of that our Acharyas have accepted us. In fact HH 45th jeer said that in a second one can do apacharams which may cost that person continued bondage for several janmas.. Only when one knows the value of one's acharya, one can unconditionally submit to Lord. Such a person cannot offend any other acharya since he knows what his acharya means to him and can definitely feel for how others keep their acharya in high esteem. Conversely, a person who offends any other acharya (whoever that may be), has not understood what his/her own acharya means to his/her life, since he/she has failed to understand the greatness of this acharya-sishya relationship. This is a public expression of my sincere prayers to my acharya and should not be confused otherwise. It is said that " gurum prakashayeth dhiman" - an intelligent one should publish widely his acharya. ( obviously, this also shows us that we don't know anything by ourselves but due to the grace of our acharyas) Hence, this email. With great respects and salutations to my acharyas, I end this email.
