Guest guest
Sri: Sri Lakshmi Hayavadhana ParabrahmaNE Namah: Dear Sri Narayanan, Sri Satakopan is on official tour. I take liberty in answering. 1. I understand that Lord Hayagreeva Jayanthi falls on September 10th. Pl advise if any special vratam is to be observed on this day. You may like to recite Swamy Desikan's Hayagriva sthOthram. If you don't know just recite JnAnandamayam dEvam nirmala spatikAkruthim aadhAram sarva vidhyAnAm HayagrIvam upAsmahE.. 2. Which flower, in particular, which is preethi to Lord to be offered. You may use "arugam pul" a kind of grass that grows with roots well sperad out. If you try to pluck, the roots are about a foot away. If not availavle, use jasmine flowers. Lotus will be great. More than everything, removal of our ahamkaram, mamakaram, kaamam, (desires on everything else except Him), anger, greed, etc., is that He wants to be offered. 3. Any special naivaidyam to be offered to Lord. You may use "kadalaip paruppu suNdal", as it is the most favourite for Horse. Also milk (warm, little sweet) will be excellent.
