Guest guest
Dear friends, In the madhva tradition also, narayana is considered to be the supreme being. Indra, Shiva, Ganesha etc. are only considered jivatmas. Still, they are offered worship. (I am not certain about the details, but it seems that these gods are given greater importance in the madhva tradition than in ours.) Despite this, there is no confusion about who the supreme lord is. I wonder why we resolve the status of demi-gods differently from the madhvas. Any philosophical/historical explanations? -Kasturi
