Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas, On October 28-29, only a few days from now, we will be celebrating the holy advent of two of our dearest acharyas in Chicago at Sri Venkatesvara Swami temple, Aurora, Illinois. This utsavam in honor of the tirunakshatrams of Sri Vedanta Desika and Sri Manavaala Maamunigal is being jointly organized by Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam and JETUSA of Sri Sri Tridandi Sriman Narayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami. This is the first time in the United States where the tirunakshatrams of Swami Desika and Swami Manavaala Maamunigal are being jointly celebrated. We invite each and everyone of you to come to Chicago and participate in this event. Arrangements are being made by the local volunteers to make sure that this celebration is very valuable to the participants. We currently have many devotees already signed up on the website (http://jeeyar.cc.uic.edu) from many locations in the United States - San Francisco, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver etc., - and many more are coming who haven't formally signed up yet. This will add to the big Sri Vaishnava community of devotees in Chicago, who regularly honor Lord Venkateswara with recitations of the sri suktis of our Alvars and acharyas. Attached is the original appeal. Please do come and join us for this joyous event. adiyEn madhurakavi dAsan, T.A.
