Dear Sri Asuri Bharath,

 

Since you are from Bangalore, adiyEn is posting this message to brief

you about Sri Vaishnava Activities in Bangalore.

 

There are lots of activities going on in Bangalore. The problem is that

there is no COMMUNICATION NETWORK between bhaagavathas and bhaktas.

Moreover, the younger generation, in particular enthusiatic young adults

are not informed about activites around them.

 

I have tried my best in listing out activites in Bangalore which may be

of interest to you as well as other bhaktas from Bangalore.

These activites going on around Bangalore are to the best of my

knowledge, if there are more activites going on, I request bhaktas to

keep adiyEn updated about the same.

 

Mathams in Bangalore

2. UBHAYA VEDANTA PARVARTHANA SABHA

You will find all litereature realted to Sri Vaishnavism here. Almost

all the vidwans in Bangalore interact within this Sabha.

it is located in 10th Cross,Malleswaram. They conducted classess for

Divya Prabandham, Vedas and about Sri Vaishnavism.

 

Temples

1. Sri Venugopala Krishnaswamy Temple, Malleswaram

It is one of the oldest and the most famous Sri Vaishnava Temple in

Bangalore. Various acharyas and Jeers have visited the temple. HH Srimad

Azhagiya Singar (Present,45th Jeer) of Ahobila Matham graced Sri Sukta

Maha Yagam and has delivered Upanyasams in his Poorvaashramam here.

 

HH Srimad Parakala Jeer (Present) and pervious jeers of Sri Parakala

Matham have also visited this temple. The long list includes HH Sri Sri

Sri Tridandi Sriman Naarayana Chinna Jeeyar, HH Sri Sampathkumara Jeer

of Yadugiri Yathirajar Matham, HH Sri Rangapriya Maha Desikan and even

HH Sri Jayendra Saraswathi of Kanchi Kamakoti Sankar Matham.

 

2. Sri Lakshminarsimhan Temple of Sri Ahobila Matham located in

Prakashnagar, Bangalore.

 

3. Sri Venkateshwara Temple of Srirangam Srimad Anadavan Ashramam also

located in Kumara park.

 

4. Sri Lakshmihayagrivan temple of Sri Parakala Matham
