At that time, adiyEn wanted to give very frequent updates on the kainkaryam. Unfortunately, due to work pressures, adiyEn could not spend a lot of time with this project. Fortunately, due to perumAL/AchAryA's grace, adiyen currently is able to devote some time to this project. adiyEn's apologies to all bhAgavathAs for such a long delay with this. Here is the current status of the project - 1. A number of divya dEsams have already been adopted and bhAgavathAs have been contributing for about 2-3 months in many divya dEsams - {thiru meyyam, puLLam bUthankudi, thanjai mAmaNik kOvil, thiru astabujakaram come to adiyEn's mind immediately; ulagaLandhap perumAL kOvil (5 DDs), thirukkaNNankudi, sikkil kidAram, thirukkuRayalUr, kAnchi vaikuntap perumAL kOvil, thiruk kAvaLambAdi, thiru arimEya viNNagaram, pavaLa vaNNar kOvil start this month} 2. As of this month, all contributions through SVSS in the United States will be tax deductible. 3. adiyEn will continue to write about the divya dEsams - first the ones that have been adopted, followed by the ones that still need support. adiyEn requests all bhAgavathAs to take part in this kainkaryam. It is indeed a great opportunity for all of us to take part in our own small way to take care of perumAL and His temples.
