Update on Sri Rangapriya Swami's upcoming discourse

Dear Devotees,

 

As reported earlier on our mailing list, Sri Rangapriya Mahadesika of

Sri Ashtanga Yoga Vijana Mandira, Bangalore will be giving a telephone

discourse in English this Saturday evening. All are invited to dial

in. For those of you who are new to our list, we have arranged for

periodic lectures on spiritual topics by the leading acharyas and vidvAns

of India. These lectures are conducted on a teleconference bridge and

are accessible over your telephone. All we ask is for a nominal donation

to help us cover the cost of the teleconference.

Sri Rangapriya Swami, one of the renowned jIyar swamis (sannyasis) of our

tradition, will be speaking Saturday evening (US time), December 9, at

6:30 pm Pacific / 9:30 pm Eastern. Listening to Swami is one of the

best opportunities for youngsters as well as others to get their questions

answered. Please do try to make it.

 

NOTE: CHANGE OF TOPIC

At Swami's request, the topic this time has been changed to "The Significance

of Samaasrayanam: Taking Refuge with the Lord". Swami will be performing

the samaasrayanam for several people in the ashrama that day and felt that

this would be a more appropriate topic under the circumstances.

 

We will arrange a lecture on the Vedas at a later date.
