Dear BhAgavatAs

 

Adiyen have few questions to know more about Grurpramapara lineage?

 

1) What kind persons are eligibile to ascend the Acharya Peetam?.

2) Is there any selection process?

3) And more importantly, we have Mahalaksmi (Periapirati) in the

Guruprampara lineage next to sriman Narayanan. But so far no female has

ascended the peetam. Is there any specific reason for this other than their

physical nature?

 

Kindly pardon me for putting such a question ( esp. the last one) . But I

could not resist after reading the Guruparampara lineage posted in this

forum.
