Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas: Today (7th January 2001) is the monthly Tirunakshatram of Asmad AchAryan Srimad Andavan, ParavAkkoTTai GOPAla dEsika mahA dEsikan of PounDarikapuram Swami Ashramam, Srirangam. This Margazhi RohiNi is special because Lord KrishNa as “GopAlan” declared ”Among the months, I am Margazhi” and the Birth-star of Lord KrishNa is RohiNi. Today assumes greater importance because our AchAryan, whose name is also “GopAladEsika mahAdesika” and whose Birth-star is also RohiNi, as we celebrate his monthly Tirunakshatram ROhiNi in this month of MArgazhi”. On this occasion, I wish to offer my humble homage to our revered AchAryan by presenting a translation of “SrI GOpAladEsika mahAdEsika pancharatnam” composed in Sanskrit by Sri Seva Swami and published in the Saptadhi mahOtsava malar of our Swami on 22nd March 1991. Any errors in this presentation is due to my limited capacity. I crave your indulgence in this regard.
