During the irapathu/pagalpathu festival it is a great experience to savor Arayer Swamigal's rendering of Muthukuri Vaibhavam,Vyakyanam of many pasurams,Amrutha manthanam Vaibhvam etc at Srivilliputtur(adiyen had the bagyam this time to witness some of them and thayar gave me the strength and aruL to remain awake during those nights).This sevai is also celebrated very well in SrIrangam(there may be some variations in the procedure) Some details regarding Arayer sevai are available on the list archives.you can use the search feature.also you can log on to www.arangham.com and click on the section ritual and revivals to know more about arayer sevai.
