As of now they have recovered 2,000 bodies and are estimating even more bodies to be recovered. There are several families who have escaped the earthquake, and are without proper food, water, clothes and shelter. Vikasatarangini volunteers are preparing to help these families and are collecting money, food, water, cloths, utensils etc. Team of Vikasatarangini volunteers are travelling to Gujarat to help them in any way possible.
