Sri Vedanta Desika Sabha and Sri Ramanuja Mission Inc are pleased to

announce the celebration of the Maasi Masam Rohini Tirunakshatram of

H.H. Paravakottai Andavan Swami, the Prakritam Andavan Swami of Srimad

Poundarikapuram Ashramam- as a part of the ongoing 81st

Thirunakshatram celebrations of the great Yathi. It is a tradition

that in the year leading up to the 81st Tirunkashatram, a special

celebration be conducted to mark the Nakshatram in each month. This

is being conducted at the Ashramam in Srirangam as well as at other

places (Chennai, Bangalore). Rohini Nakshatram in the month of Maasi

(Feb 15-March 14) occurs on March 3, 2001. A Padhuka Aradhanam will be

performed to commemorate the auspicious occasion. Details of the event

are as follows:

 

March 3, 2001

Time: 8.30 am

Venue: Rangaswamy Residence, Westborough, MA

 

For the first time in the US, a grand celebration is being planned and

we cordially invite all Bhagavatas to take part in this event and

receive the munificent blessings of the Padhukas. All SriVaishanava

organizations/Vedic groups are most welcome to participate

in/co-sponsor the event. Proceeds from the Padhuka Aradhanam will be

donated to H.H. Srimad Andavan Swami of Srimad Poundarikapuram

Ashramam. Further information and updates will be posted as and when
