Kura Narayana Jeeyar was contemprory of Koorathalwan and was many years earlier to Vadakalai-Thenkalai divide. Sudarsana Sathakam was written at he behest of Koorathalwan when Thiruvaranga Perumal Ariyar was unwell to do kaimkaryam to Srirangam temple.
