Guest guest
Srimate Ramanujaya Namah. Dear Bhagavatas, In my opinion, Lord Krishna chose to bew the charioteer of Arjuna only out of His causeless mercy. Otherwise, He could have been the charioteer of Yudhishtira who appears to be much more pious and learned than Arjuna. Lord Krishna's story in Srimad Bhagavata has a beautiful answer to this question. When we want to pray to Him, we first take bath, perform sandhyAvandanam and then only recite vishNu sahasranAmam or some other stOtra. on the other hand, mother yaSOdA, did not even have to brush her teeth or wash her eyes to have KrushNAnubhavam. Now the question comes as to why Lord krishna chose Yasoda as His mother. why not vasishta's wife arundhatI or Goddess saraswatI? the answer is nirhEtuka krupA. fotunate ar the ones on whom the gracious glances f divya dampatis fall. rest everybody is unforutnate. dasudu Vishnu Get 250 color business cards for FREE! http://businesscards.lycos.com/vp/fastpath/ >From rangaswamy_m Tue Jun 12 13:47:10 2001 Return-Path: <rangaswamy_m Received: (qmail 2992 invoked from network); 12 Jun 2001 20:46:34 -0000 Received: from unknown (10.1.10.26) by l9. with QMQP; 12 Jun 2001 20:46:34 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO ej.) When the ever-present enemies of my body cause me pain and sorrow, During the last moments of my life , please fill my ears with Your Naadham. It will serve as medicine ( alchemy) to drive away those afflictions. (2) Srimath Andavan's anubhavam: Oh rathna PaadhukE! Your Lord gave us this body so that the jeevan can reach Him . When that jeevan leaves its cage of body , the ten indhriyAs diminish their activities. At this time , if the jeevan thinks of the Lord , it is assured of reaching the Lord's sacred feet .
