Guest guest
srimathE rAmAnujAya namaha: Sincere appreciation to all devotees very much for organizing this beautiful event, for providing us with this wonderful experience & an oppurtunity to perform kainkariyam. With the divine blessings of Lord Sriman Narayana & our Acharyas, Ramanuja Jayanthi organized by Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimadh Andavan Ashramam along with Jeeyar Educational Trust of Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar and Sri Ahobila Muth, USA went very well. Other Srivaishnava organizations like NAMA, VEDICS, Sri Vedantha Desika Sabha and Sri Desika Darasana Sabha participated in the celebrations. In many ways we felt like we are all family members (connected by Bagawath Ramanuja.) Perumal & sri Ramanuja seva, Chanting in the Goshti & late night discussions & wonderful satsang was enjoyed by one and all We look forward to more memorable days with the NY/NJ Goshti. We pray to Lord Sriman Narayana for more of this Satsang & Kainkariyam =======Funtion Details ================= Friday Morning: Thiruvaaradhanam performed by Sriman U. Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan And a discourse on the "Details of thiruvaradhana & How & Why" - At Murali Thirumalai's residence Special Thiruvaaradhanam to Sri Ramanuja and Perumal was performed by Sriman U. Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan, His kids Ranganatha & RamaSeshan participated in the Goshti with Narayanan V, Murali T, Shreyas, Vemkat, TP Gopalakrishnan, Mukundan .. and others. The vigraha of Udayavar with Sampath Kumaran (On his lap) was a special treat (Vigraha travelling with Velukkudi Swami) Friday Evening: Special Lecture By Sriman U. Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan About 120 Devotees participated in the discourse (Azhwars & Lord Sri Rama) Saturday morning: Ramanuja Jayanthi Celebrations in NJ (Bridgewater Temple) Early Morning started with Paduka Aradhana with a strong 40 member goshti. >From the temple, Lord came out in a grand procession with 40 Goshti members chanting divya prabhandam in the front & 10 to 15 Veda parayanam Gosti following our Lord. Audience was in tears looking at the grand procession, but perumal had more in store for us. He was on his way to meet his dear Ramanuja He was going out to visit & greet Bagawath Ramanuja, he came from the temple to the outskirts of the funtion hall, where he was greeted by Sri Ramanuja with the Goshti Chanting Siria Thirumadal by this time. All the participants felt the divine presence and we could see Poondi mama, Narayana, Ananda etc in tears along with other devotees. Sri Ramanuja had special Thirumanjanam performed by the temple priest Sri Narashimachar, Sri Ramanuja was ready to hear parayanam from the Goshti. All the parayanam was good, but the chanting of Iramanusa Nootrandadi was excellent. With the Sattumurai, (Iruppidam Vaikuntham Venkatam) the Goshti and audience was emotional and in tears and the devotees could feel the divine presence. On Sunday we had a similar experience at Lord Ranganatha's beautiful temple in Pommona, NY. Thirumanjanam for Sri Ranganatha, performed by Sri Venkat Kanumalla was very beautiful. Chanting of all the Acharya tanians (Of the devotees present), and Sathumurai was beautiful (Respecting all Kalai and Vaishnava Sampradaya) . This brought tears to some devotees in the temple hall. The chants by the Strong 35 member Goshti reverberated in the Temple hall downstairs for Acharya Padukas and Sri Ramanuja and later upstaris for Lord Ranganatha. Sriman U. Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan Swami's very moving and apt discourse on Acharya Vaibhavam was a nectar to the ears. (Once we start enjoying the Nectar of Bhagawath Talks, Lecutres, Kankariyam, and Parayanam all other pleaures of this life autoamtically become insignificant and petty) This weekend gave us a good feel for the divine nectar, and Lord's Satsang. This was truly a wonderful weekend. We appreciate all the organizers for providing us with this opputunity for service and to participate in this wonderful event. PS: Also thanks for those wonderful late evening informal discussions and satsang. We pray to Lord Sriman Narayana for more of this Satsang & Kainkariyam AzhwAr EmberumAnAr Jeeyar ThiruvadigalE saranam adiyEn rAmAnuja dAsan Mukundan Vankipuram Pattangi
