I inadvertently wrote, "..Nobody in Mahabharatha, as I understand it till now, requested Sri Krishna to show His viswaroopam." This should read " Nobody else..." Regarding "Ganesha @ Vaishnava Temples", I erroneously identified the deity as Lord Viswaksena. I received many mails correcting me that it is actually 'Sri Gajanana Azhvan' or 'Gajavaktra'.
