Guest guest
Srimathae Ramanujaya Namaha : Srimath Seetharama Sathgurvae Namaha : Dear Sri Bagavathas, I have a very fundamental question to ask. Why is not required to attribute GOD with personal qualities (i.e., the Kalayana Gunas etc), because I feel HE has more important work like creation/destruction of the cosmos.. I am one among the confused lot unable to strike a balance between modern scientific theories and religion/philosophy.. I agree that our own Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and etal, talked about highly abstract concepts such as Moksha, which no other religion haven't spoken.. All the other religions speak Heaven (sorgaloga prapthi) as the highest attainable abode, whereas our Vedas, Idhihasas, Purnas etc talked about the highest abode for jivas as the Paramapadha.. Why is it required for HIM to look into the needs of mortal humans (who are nothing more than specs of cosmic dust) (dushta nigraha and sishta paripalana).. I feel that we are missing something or being too "human" specific in our description of ultimate reality.. There may be many other intelligent species apart from this human race. Then the needs of these other life forms else where (ie apart from this earthlings needs to be taken care).. I humbly pray unto the feet of all the holy bhagavathas in this group to forgive me for my ignorance for my language and for hurting the feeling of any of the list members. I know this is the only source in which I can get out of this confusion. Seeking refuge unto the feet of all Bhagavathas in this group.. dasAn Badrinath.
