Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatas: The town of Buffalo - famous for Niagara Falls (which could have entered the Vibhuti Yoga of Bhaghavat Gita) - is once again getting ready to host the 'Acharya Vaibhavam Conference'. You may recall that we were very fortunate to host the the first ever Srivaishnava Conference in USA (under the auspices of Swami Desika Darsana Satsangam formed on the Vedanta Desika Tirunakshatram day in 1996). We were very blessed at that time to have Shri Anbil Swamigal, Shri Sadagopan, Shri MG Prasad, Shri Sampath Rangarajan, Shri Muralidhar Rangaswamy and so many other Bhaghavatas blessing the conference. It was a momentous occasion for Sri Vaishnavas. The Bhakti list was just then growing strong and through Emperuman's grace it is going 'stronger and stronger'. It provided a fertile ground where the seeds of Sri Vaishnavism could grow in the American soil. It brought the like-minds to gether and the synergy of 'like-minds' made the conference possible. Devotees at Buffalo are eager to host yet another conference this year. The most important part of this program will be the Acharya Paduka Aradhanam that will be conducted by the 'Ramanuja Mission Inc.'. There could not be a better way of celebrating the Acharya Vaibhavam than by showing our gratitude to our acharyas. The Hindu Cultural Society of Western New York has volunteered to host the conference this year. "Sri Ramanuja Mission of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam". and "Swami Desika Darsana Satsangam" (SDDS) will join with the "Hindu Cultural Society of Western New York" in holding this conference. We will hold the conference on Sept. 29, 2001. The Conference will be entitled “Acharya Vaibhavam Conference”. We cordially invite all bhagavathas and SriVaishnava Organizations to join us in celebrating the great Acharyas of our satsampradayam. All Bhagavatas are cordially invited to attend the celebrations and receive the blessings of Divya Dhampatis and Acharyas.
