Additional brief comments on the above Thirumozhis are provided below: 4.1: This Thirumozhi deals with those who seek and find the Lord . AzhwAr unitl now had celebrated Raama and KrishNaavathArams. When he reached this stage of his prabhandham construction , a nobel thought relating to Dharmi Iykya BhAvam arose in his mind. That bhAvam informed him that the same SarvEsvaran incarnates as Raaman, KrishNan and Narasimhan et al. He wanted to have the darsana soubhAgyam of this sarvesvaran and at the same time reminded himself that there are those , who have sought Him and found Him .He says in one of the Paasuram , "Devanai sikkena naaduthirEl , --BhAratham kai seyyak KaNDAr uLAr" ( I will give you some clues if you want to find Him quickly ; You will find Him helping PaaNDavAs win the war over KouravAs at Kuru KshEthram . There are those who have found Him there). 4.2: After focusing on the Vibhava avathArams of Yore , AzhwAr now focuses on easy-to-worship ArchAvathArams of the Lord at His LeelA vibhUthi. He starts with the dhivya dEsam of ThirumAlirumchOlai. He celebrates the Azhagar hills , the seat of residence of KaLLazhagar, Sundarabaahu.He gives prominence to the divine hills and Swamy Desikan will take the clue for the construction of the first slOkam of DayA sathakam form here (PrapadhyE Girim --).KurEsar will celebrate these hills innSri SundararAja Sthavam from this cue . 4.3: Here, PeriyAzhwAr continues to celebrate the divinity of ThirumAlirumchOlai, which he salutes as " Azhagan AlankAran malai ,Kula Malai kOla malai , KuLirmAmalai koRRa malai, nila malai, neeNDa malai , ThirumAlirumchOlaiathE ". 4.4: The Vaibhavam of ThirukkOttiyUr dhivya dEsam is celebrated here.He also condemns those , who do not use their lives to perform Kaimkaryam for the Lord .He says that those who fail to perform such kaimkaryams to the Lord are born to cause pain to the Mother , who bore them ( peRRa ThAyAr vayiRRinai perunOy seyvAn piRanthArkaLE). He also celebrates those , who perform kaimkaryams to the Lord (Kesavar adiyArkaL) have the rights to buy and sell him .He wonders at the greatness of the BhaagavathAs of ThirukkOshtiyUr and says :"KaNNanaik KadaikoNDu kai Thozhum BhaktharkaL iruntha Ooril irukkum manithar yetthavangaL seythAr kolO?". 4.5: Here, the thought of AzhwAr is about anthima kaalam. He instructs us to call on the names of Sarva-prAkara Bhandhu, Sriman NaarAyaNan , during the last moments atleast instead of calling the names of the useless relatives in vain ( paiyyavE talai saayppathan munn--Mannavan Madhusoodhanan yenpAr , vaanahatthE manRAdikaL thAmE) 4.6: Here, Azhwar Invites Mothers to name their children with the names of the Lord (Kesavan, Sridharan , Govindhan,Maadhavan et al )instead of meaningless names. In the first paasuram , Azhwaar performs upadesam for us : Please sweeten your mind by naming your child Kesavan and be assured of freedom from the terrors of narakam (Kesavan pErittu neengaL thEnit thiruminO, Naayakan NaaraNan tammannai narakam puhAL "). 4.7: MangaLAsAsanam for ThirukkaNDamkudi : In the two previous Thirumozhis , PeriyAzhwAr performed UpadEsam on Hitham . Here, he starts on the explanation of the Tatthvam by focussing on the PerumAL at ThirukkaNDamkudi ( PurushOtthamn) residing on the banks of sacred Gangai ( Gangain karai mEl KaNDam yennum kadinagarE). 4.8: PeriyAzhwAr completed the MangaLAsAsanams of the PerumALs of Vada Naadu and now he foucsses on the glories of Sriranga dhivya dEsam ( kuravu arumbhak kOngu alarak kuyil koovum kuLir Pozhil soozh Thiruvarangam yenpathuvE Yenn ThirumAL sErvidamE). 4.9: Having tasted the honey of the Naamam of Sri RangnAthan in the previous Thirumozhi , AzhwAr continues with the pleasurable experience of eulogizing Sriranga Dhivya dampahtis in this Thirumozhi as well. He wonders how any one can become the servant of others instead of serving the Lord of Srirangam ( yennudaya ThiruvarangarkkaRkanRiyum maRravarkku AaLAvArO?"). 4.10: From the focus on BhUlOka Vaikuntam (Srirangam), PeriyAzhwAr's thoughts shift to Nithya VibhUthi ( Parama Padham , where the Lord receives kaimkaryam from Nithyasooris and Muktha Jeevans). In this Thirumozhi, AzhwAr thinks about his last , moments on earth. He informs the Lord that his physical condition may not permit him to appeal to the Lord to bless him with Vaikunta PrApthi during those last moments. Hence, AzhwAr says that he is appealing to the Lord right now , when his body and mind are firm and performs SaraNAgathi in the spirit of VarAha Charama SlOakm ( yeyppu yennai vanthu naliyum pOthu , angu unnai ninaikkamAttEn , APPOTHAIKKU IPPOTHE SOLLI VAITHTEN , ArangattharavaNip PaLLiyAnE ").
