Most of you may be aware that Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ramanuja Jeer

Swamy will soon be here in the USA to raise funds for building a

small town in Gujarat's earth-quake stricken area. His Holiness's way

is like a mother feeding medicine to a sick child i.e., a wise mother

who knows that medicine may not be liked by her child, mixes the

medicine with milk(and may be honey?) and feeds it. In this case,

"mother" is the Jeer swamy, "milk" is the external bodily comforts

He is planning to provide for the masses affected in Gujarat and

finally the doctrine of Shrivaishnavism, that the people in the new

town will be exposed to gradually, is the "medicine" to make them

develop a desire to attain the ultimate "Kainkarya Shri" and get

redeemed of the horrors of the cycle of rebirth. As one can see, this

is "ultimate" social service that anyone can think of...

only to a "social" cause but towards the ultimate good of several
