Guest guest
Asmad gurubhyo namah I wish to thank Sri Sadananda and Chinmayamission for taking the responsibility to organize SMS chari’s lectures in Washington D.C area. I am experiencing “bliss” here working with Dr. chari during this last fortnight on chapters 3,4,5 of gita. His new book on Gita is a treat. Such a deep comparison of the bhasyas of Sankaracharya, Ramanujacharya and Madhvacharya is a very difficult task at hand. I am sure it really rare that anyone takes up this kind of mammoth task. I hope our acharyas and divine lord srimannaryana bless Dr. chari with all that needed to accomplish the task. I request everyone from all srivaishnava associations and other associations to participate in these lecture series to gain deep insights in to Vedanta. It is very rare that such a traditionally trained octagenarian scholar comes to town. It will be a loss to everyone of us if we don’t approach such knowledgeable people. As time passes by, our siddhantam is weakening because of lack of serious studies and access to learned people. Hence, being a well-wisher, I urge everyone of you to take advantage of Dr. SMS chari’s trip. It is said that “tad viddhi pranipatena pari prasnena sevaya – upadekshyanti te jnanam jnaninah tatva darshinah” One should fall at the feet of the gurus, serve them, and ask questions at appropriate times again and again, to know spiritual knowledge; those seers of truth will teach you that divine spiritual knowledge.
