Guest guest
My humble pranams to all bhakti-list members My name is : Madabhushi Srivatsan Raman Age:23 Srivatsan being my name. I hail from Madras but settled in Baroda, Gujarat. Presently I am a graduate student at the University of Missouri. Honestly, I am not very knowledgeable about our Great Vaishnava Tradition. But I am extremely proud to be a Vaishnava and Lord Srinivasa's bhakta. Right from childhood I have learnt lot of slokas sanskrit and tamil out of personal interest. But I could not get an opportunity to expand my understanding of the tenets of Vaishnavism. When I saw this site on the web and how beautifully it expounded the philosophies of Vaishnavism, I was enthralled. I take great pride at being in the midst of such scholars of Vaishnavism in this e-group. I was also happy to note that somebody had atlast given an explanation on the origin of "Madabhushi" to which I belong. I belong to Bharadwaja gothram. CAN SOME BODY LET ME KNOW AS TO WHO IS THE "KULA-DEIVAM" OF MADABHUSHI (BHARADWAJAM). No body in my household has a clear idea about it. In the end I thank the moderator of this e-group for permitting my entry into this group and I am sure it will be a great learning experience for enthusiatic young vaishnavites like me. Thank you Sincerely Srivatsan M. Raman Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Messenger http://phonecard./
