Guest guest
Dear Bhaktas, I'm going through the purusha sukta shlokas, I'm trying to understand each shlokas and trying to find the inner meaning. I could get for most of the shlokas by identifying set of shloka(s) in Srimad Bhagavat Geeta For example as we all know, several shlokas of Srimadbhagavathgeetha can be associated to the first hymn of the purusha sukta. One such is in the 11th chapter where Arjuna describes the virAta swarUpa of Lord by saying the same. (Bahu pada udhara nethra..) While making such personal notes on purusha sukta, I couldn’t understand the seventh hymn. I tried going through the Bhagavathgeeta and tried to find out what is the trisaptha samiths. I couldn’t find with my limited knowledge Could anybody tell me what is the sapta paridaya and what represents the trisapta samiths? I tried reading through several translation but none was very convincing. Here is the shloka’s snippet for your reference saptAsyA san paridayah trisaptah samidhah krtAh | deva yad yajnam tanvAnAh abadhnan purusham pashum | Sincere Regards, Srivatsa Kadambi Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Messenger http://phonecard./
