Guest guest
Can Sri U. Ve.Sadagopan and other Bhagavathas please clarify this.. I remember someone having told me that the great ThirukuDandhai Andavan and the great DevanArviLAgam Azhagiyasingar were brothers-in-law in their poorvashramam, married to sisters from a family.. And has there ever been an instance where one matam/ashramam has had a successor who orgininally belonged to the other matam/ashramam but took up the responsibility for preservation of our Dharmam!? I pray God to lead me into learning more about our glorious past and I hope this mail does not stir any controversies as a side effect. I believe that the 6th Jeeyar of the Ahobila Matham, shastha paraankusha swaami was a munitraya aachaarya (before becoming a Ahobila Matham sannyaasi). This is clear from the taniyan that munitraya lineage people recite: raamaanujam ananthaaryam taataachaarya paraankushau ^^^^^^^^^^^^ ahobilaachaarya mahaa-dayaadheesha guruuttamau Knowledgeable members may verify this. -aDiyEn muraLi kaDaambi
