Adiyen would request the Srivaishnavas to clarify my doubt reg the various

moorthis of perumal..

Doubt- Adiyen understand that in a Perumal temple there are 6 moorthis("Shad

bayrer") as Moolavar,Urchavar,Selvar (I know only 3 remaining not aware).

I am not clear why such 6 different moorthis and basis for them.

I think Urchavar is to go around the place and grace the people not able to come

to temple to have His dharsan because of physical inability etc. Also He is the

one who can adore Himself in different Alangarams etc.

Is my understanding correct ?

Also Reg the OorthvaPundaram, I do have some queries ringering for long time.

Though I know some of this might of have been discussed already if someone can

give me clarification or pointer adiyen will be so grateful.

My doubt is.

Why we should wear Oorthvapundaram, any niyamams for wearing this?

Like we used to wear 12 in different parts of the body any reason for such a

number ?

Also though Adiyen is not interested in starting another "fire" , but certainly

adiyen wish to clear my ignorance on why different kalai wear different form of

Thirumans.

(This is mainly to answer some so called Iyengars but not following

Srivasihanavism and do query about the basics of our nithyakarmanushtanams)

Sorry this mail is big one as my doubt's age!!
