Guest guest
The following sloka is rightly cited from Indra krita Sristuthi in Prathamamsha 9th adhyaya of Vishnupurana. In the Vishnupurana, we have the well-known sloka, > Raghavatve Abhavat seeta RukmiNi Krishna janmani > AnyeshuchavatArEshu VishnOrEshAnapAyinI But the following citation is also found in the same Sristuthi of Vishnupurana. But I wonder how Dr Mutthu Bhattar has quoted it from Vaikhanasa Archana Navaneetham > Dr Mutthu Bhattar quotes in the recent special issue of HayagrIva > PriyA Journal on Sri Tatthvam a passage relating > to Sri Devi's avathAra rahasyam : > > BhrugO: khyAthyAm Samuthpanna > Sripooravamudhathou puna: > Deva Dhanava yathnEna > prasoothAmrutha amndhanE > YATH YATHA JAGATH SWAMI > DEVADEVO JANAARDHANA: > AVATHAARAM KAROTHYASHAA > TATHAA SRISTATHSAHAAYINI > --Sri VaikAnasa ArchanA NavanItham: 5.28& 29 The following famous sloka is also a part of Sristuthi in Vishnupurana. > Dr. Mutthu Bhattar quotes another slOkam > in this context: > > dEvathvE dEvathEhEyam manushyathvE cha MaanushI > punasccha Padma sambhUthA AaddhithYabhUth YathA Hari: > My doubt is whether the same passage "BhrigO: khyAtyAm...... TadhA SrIstatsahAyinI" is found in Vishnupurana as well as VaikhAnasa ArchanA NavanEEtham also or it is an error? Adiyen Ramanuja
