Guest guest
Namaskaarams to all. I chanced across this list a few months ago and truly feel that it is a great blessing to listen to the enlightened members here. I was born in Madras, into a family with strong Sri Vaishnavite traditions, originally hailing from Kanchipuram, and I recall vividly my grandfather being chided by the younger members of our family, for his unshakable insistence on attending the Garudasevai every year despite problems posed by his health. For the sake of formality, I am a graduate student in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Digital Signal/Image Processing. I recently came across a link that distressed me very much. Even though I certainly do not believe the claims made there[and frankly find them preposterous to say the least], and feel that there will always be such claims by misled people, the so-called 'evidences' used by them, include our Azhwars and Ramanujaacharya. Chapters 15-18 were particularly hurting. I would be very obliged if the knowledgeable members of this list could shed some light on this. The web site in question is http://www.dalitstan.org/books/tirupati/tirupati.html. Thank you very much. sincerely, Pavithra.
Guest guest
srImathE rAmAnujAya namaha srImadh varavara munayE namaha Smt Pavitra. I happened to look into this link as well very long ago. My request is, please do never turn to them towards explaining the truth. There is no point, as it is a bunch of atheists with no direction. They just misinterpret all the works. In fact, you should consider yourself lucky, for you have not looked into what they have written about rAmA and seethA, the omnipresent dhampatis. It is far beyond even thinking. I only consider it my poorva janma pAvam to have happened to read them accidentally. So please ignore that site itself. Just an example for you all to know what is in this site. Muruga is a Dravidian god and Ganesha is an Aryan god. So Muruga is to be celebrated while ganesha is to be driven out This is what they have written. Don't you see how foolish this site will be with the "sthAleepulAga nyAyam" (A rice grain is enough to prove the condition of a pot full of rice).
