Dear Bhakthas,

I had the great bagyam of attending the ThirumaniAzvans sathumurai

in Triplicane.

As i was talking to one of my friend he asked me shall we go to sathumurai.

With A great Pleasure I said a big OK.

 

The experience was really Great.Although i attended only the evening

session.

 

Swamy Desikan was decorated with Flowers and seated in the Great

tholukiniyan.

In that moment i thought of being a ravanan so i could get 20 eyes so see

that beautiful sight.

while writing this that vision is running in my background.

The porapadu started with a great gosti of Divya prabandham,Vedham and

shothra padams of Sri Desika.

The poorapadu started by around 7:30 and took some 2 to 2.30 hrs to

complete.

And The Gosham of prabandham,vedam and stothram pierced the air .

After The porapadu is over.

People who have come from kanchipuram,Srirangam and other Divyadesam came

with malai and parivattam to Swami Desikan.

It was a rare sight to see.The bhattar performed these activities in Great

Style and with perfection.

After This The Veda,prabandha satthumurai started.

There were lot of adhikaris who have come.

It took around nearly 2 to 3 hours for all these to complete.

At last prasadham was distributed which includes

Dosai,Appam,Sundal,Bhhondhi,Vadai.

 

 

This was a rare experience for me as i had only seen the sathumurai of

ThirumaniAzvan in Vinnarthangarai only in my 26yrs .

It was a Great Experience to see Such a goshti of vidwans in under one roof.
