Dear BhakthAs: It is very good news indeed to learn about the release of one of the five great Sthavams of Swamy KUrEsar on His forthcoming Thirunakshathram by Dr.NSA Swamy of Bangalore . The extraordinary kaimkaryam of Dr.N.S. AnanatharangAchArya Swamy is a very special one. With vigor and devotion , Swamy has blessed us with monographs without let so that we can gain an understanding of the great SrI Sookthis of our PoorvAchAryALs , Veda Manthrams, NaalAyira Dhivya prabhandham et al. Wish I could read Kannada to benefit from the comprehensive set of Monographs of Dr.NSA . As always, this new release would contain marvellous insights into the purport of this Grantham of KurEsar and will benefit the followers of Bhagavath RaamAnuja Darsanam immensely . While speaking about "SrI Vaikunta Sthavam " of KUrEsar, I wish to invite the attention of BhakthAs to another kaimakryam that Dr.NSA is engaged in . Thanks to the efforts of Sriman Krishna Kasyap of San Diego and Srimathi Nagu Satyan of Denver , we are blessed to recieve the Tele-upanyAsam of Dr.NSA on one of the most important works : SrI SaraNAgathi Gadhyam of AchArya RaamAnujA . Because of the importance of the performance of SaraNAgathi in SrI VaishNavite Tradition , AchArya RaamAnujA performed Svanishtai Prapatthi in front of the Dhivya Dampathis of Srirangam on a Panguni Uttharam day , when They were together(sErthi sEvai). The Dhivya Dampathis of SrIrangam accepted Their dear AchAryan's Prapatthi and asked him to stay at their side in Srirangam until his dEha VyOham and subsequent ascent to Parama Padham . Srutha PrakAsikAchArya , Periya VaacchAn PiLlai and Swamy Desikan have written brilliant commentaries on SaraNAgathy Gadhyam of AchArya RaamAnujA inview of its extraordinary importance to us. Each of these AchAryAs have provided brilliant insights into the key words and passages of this Gadhyam. Dr.NSA is giving a series of lectures for BhakthAs using the Telebridge on these three commentaries and is kind enough to answer Questions and Answers on the day's upanyAsam and general matters pertaining to SaraNAgathi. These lectures are simply brilliant and deeply scholarly. SrI KrishNa Kaasyap can provide more details for those who wish to benefit from these upayAsams. Right now, Dr.NSA concluded the Poorva KhaNDam portion of Dhvaya manthram elaborated in the SaraNAgathy Gadhyam and is about to begin the Utthara KhaNDam section of the Dhvaya Manthram . Dr.NSA's upanyAsam is in English. Please join these most insightful UpanyAsams on SaraNAgathy Gadhyam and the different and yet complimentary approaches of the above three great commentators on this grantham. Oppiliappan Sannadhi is known as ThiruviNNagaram, Aakasa Nagaram , VyOmapuri or the abode of Vaikunta Naathan. adiyEn hopes to set up a small trust to have SaraNAgathy Gadhyam recited on Panguni Uttharam days at Oppiliappan Koil from this year on in celebration of Bhagavath RaamAnujA and His illustrious Sishya Paramparai that includes KurEsar in the front row. It was SrI KUrEsar that showed the way for SrI ParAsara Bhattar and Swamy Desikan to compose many sthOthra granthams . adiyEn will write a brief introductory note on SrI Vaikunta Sthavam of KurEsar through a separate mail in rememberance of the release of this important monograph by Dr.NSA and pray to SrI VaikuntanAthan to bless Dr.NSA with long life engaged in such kaimakryams , perfect health and happiness born out of the sharing of his extraordinary , SampradhAyic Scholarship in a tireless manner thru grantha nirmANams and UpanyAsams.
