Guest guest
Dear Friends I am a recent member of your distinguished group. I read with great interest the material in it, and am awed at the depth of knowledge of some of your members. I have certain observations about how people worship or show devotion in our country. By and large people in the South (I am a south Indian myself) can talk of great scriptures, they can talk of Bhakthi extensively, but they practice less of Bhakthi. In comparison people from the North India talk less (rather preach less) but really show Bhakthi, never mind whichever Hindu God they worship, be it Santoshi Mata, Vaishnodevi or as a matter fact any other Hindu God. How many of your distinguished members agree with me, these are my frank observations. Also can anyone explain why is it so?
