Dear Members,

Although this message is technically beyond the scope of this

list, I am approving this message hoping that it will result in the formation of

a new forum which will better serve the secular needs of many bhaktas. I am

also forwarding Sri Sadagopan's response to Sri Rajeev Karamchedu's mail. Those

interested in volunteering some time and other resources to make this a reality

may correspond directly with Sri Sadagopan(sgopan) and Sri Rajeev

Karamchedu(rkaramchedu). Once such a forum is setup, we will make

an announcement on this list.

Computer Systems Manager

 

The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), a dynamic

not-for-profit scientific research organization, is

seeking a Computer Systems Manager to direct a small

team of systems administrators responsible for an IT

helpdesk, user support and desktop operations. Expertise

in supporting Linux, MS Windows and Macintosh is

required. Strong background in LAN administration,

backups and network security preferred. Experience

in diverse UNIX platforms is a plus. Qualified

candidates will have a BS degree in Computer Science

or a related field plus 6 years of experience as

described above. Technical management experience

is required with a proven track record in supervising

IT professionals.
