Guest guest
radhe krishna! namo narayana dear bhaagavatas, having experienced surdas's poems once, lets return to them again... THE WAVERING MIND ******************* Lord, your inscrutable maya deludes my mind, it fails to dwell on you and I can't pray. The company of sages steadies it somewhat, but as an elephant after bathing squirts mud on itself again, my mind's calm lasts only a moment and then returns to the world's unquiet. Calling himself hermit-like The greedy man swipes another's wealth, as an acrobat performing for money. Says suradasa, my mind is fickle, it does not stay on you, Lord, impenetrable maya balks my attempt. MAYA’S SLAVE ************* Krishna, maya has so possessed my mind that it can no longer know what's good for it, what's harmful; and speeds to its destruction as a moth to a flame. My home's like an earthen lamp, wealth its oil, wife as cotton and son as a furious fire. Ignorant, out of tune, I keep attached to these as a parrot on a lotus: with no guru to guide me I go round and round tied to the peg of existence. Says Suradasa, how can he who chants the name of Krishna, ever fall so low? lottsa krishna premai kalaivani andal thiruvadigale sharanam namo venkateshaya _______________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
