Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana! Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha! Sri Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam! What is happiness (a:nanda)? When we see things which we think are favourable to us we feel very happy. Brahma jnana (knowledge) would enable a person to envisage God in everything. To him the whole world looks like His Divine Body. Rama-nama gives this power. When we can visualize everything as His divine body we will love the whole universe. One who can see so and 'love' the universe is a rishi. This experience (bhavana) had ripened into a stage, in the sage Valmiki, that he could see every thing with immense love and derive endless happiness which is the true a:nanda. The Almighty is all pervading. To bless the mankind this 'tathvam' takes a humun form and lives here. This was heard by Valmiki. He was able to witness God in himself and in the entire universe. He wanted to know about the Lord who had come here in the human form. At that time Narada came to him. Narada had all the required knowledge about ’Brahmam’. Brahmam is the all powerful, having all the ‘jnana’ (awareness) and is the supreme. As it is said: "thapasa: brahma jignyasasva", only a great penance can show this tathvam. Narada did such a ’thapas’. What does ‘thapas’ mean? It means ‘thinking’;thinking about the 'jagath ka:rana thaththva’, the root cause of this creation. Who is responsible for this universe in which we see the 'cha:thurvarnya’? How had this universe come into being? What is the bond that exists between these souls (jeevas) and the Paramathma? To be continued... Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai ============= ramanuja dasi ============= _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
