Your divine feet is understood to be the original cause of all effects. It is the greatest and best goal of all words. All prayers become blessed by being directed at You. Oh, Master of dEvas, I have become terrified in this Samsara which scares me out of my wits. Oh lotus-eyed one, protect and save me. I do not know of a better refuge than you. ( Yielding to myriads of temptations, I am not able to elevate myself . I slip often in my progress towards You. As in the case of Viswamitra, who had to rededicate himself several times after slipping before reaching his goal, many many births are simply wasted in sensual indulgence. That is why I am afraid of the Samsara.) 9* kAlEShvapi cha sarvEShu dikShu sarvAsu chAchyuta sharIrE cha gatou chApi vartatE mE mahad bhayam. In all times good and bad, auspicious and inauspicious, in all directions and from all directions, Oh Achyuta, I have reason for great fear. Even in my own body and in my livelihood and occupation. Fear of risk to physical life, though existing in all these quarters, is not meant here, for grievance. It is the perils to the ideal spiritual wellbeing and progress in reaching the Lord, that are the cause for worry .. 10* tvat pAda kamalAd anyan na mE janmAntarEShvapi nimittam kushalasyAsti yena gachchAmi sadgatim. Even after countless births, I will not find any other opportunity for my spiritual welfare than Your lotus like foot, which can assure me sure passage to sadgati or Vaikuntham and liberation from Samsara. I have realised after suffering countless births and perditions, that other yogas like karmayoga and jnanayoga etc cannot deplete my load of sins and secure liberation. I have realised that only sharaNagati at Your feet and Your Mercy alone can redeem me and transport me to You.
