Dear VedAbhimAnis :

 

Here is an update on the status of Release 1 for

the year 2002 of the scholarly monograph of

U.Ve. Dr. N.S.AnantharangAcchAr (NSA)Swamy of Bangalore.

The input is from SrIman Narasimhan Swamy , the son of

Dr.NSA Swamy :

 

" The first volume of 'Selections from Upanishads'

is getting printed. In addition to the Upanishads mentioned

in my earlier mail, some mantras from Kaushitaki

and Atharva Narayan Shiropanishad are also included.

The book has selections from 15 Upanishads - Isa, Kena,

Katha, Prashna, Mundaka, Mandukya,Mahanarayana,Chandogya,

Brihadaranyaka, Shvetashwatara, Taittiriya, Subala, Itareya,

and Kaushitaki Upanishads.

 

The first proof has been read and has gone for

corrections. There will be a second prrof-reading

and then the book would have a general introduction

by Dr.NSA Swamy to all these upanishads which has

to get printed also.

Such BhAshyams in English by great scholars like Dr.NSA

Swamy along the VisishtAdhvaithic lines are nonexistent

until now.
