Guest guest
Sreemathe: Ramanujaya Namaha!! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!! Now he is mentioning the ‘gunas’ necessary to attract devotees. SriRama knows what is ‘dharma’ and knows to practice that dharma. SriRama can take a vow and can keep it up too. Sri Rama’s foremost ‘dharma’ is ‘sarana:gatha rakshana’. One should have this quality primarily. One should be capable to keep up one’s word. The two wheels of the chariot of human life are dharma and truth. Dharma is to be practiced. ‘Sathyam’ is to be known and observed in one’s speech. Dharma is the means to happiness and bliss. Pleasure is of three types. The house, the wealth, wife children rain etc. enjoyed in this world are ‘earthly-pleasures’.(mundane) (aihikam). The others are ‘eternal pleasures’(A:mushmikam). The second is hevenly bliss in the upper loka:s. The third is the perpetual bliss without this chain of birth and death ; to be in the Bhagavan’s ‘sannidhi’enjoying the‘nitya a:nanda’ (ever lasting joy) . Dharma is the means to attain these three states. To accomplish these position what is to be done and practised while in this body is called 'dharma'. To show us these dharmas the ‘Dharma Swaru:pa Vedavedya’ ‘Bhagavan’ had taken incarnation as Rama , Lakshmana, Bharatha and Satrughna. To achieve the worldly bliss: (a) what should be observed in this world with this body, (b) how should one behave and ©what type of ‘karma’ should be done, have been shown by Sri Rama to this mankind. What should one know and what is to be practised with this body in this world to attain the permanent eternal bliss without another birth has been established by Lakshmana, Bharatha and Satrughna through their practice. Hence SriRama is a ‘dharmajna’. As the four brothers are the counterparts of ‘Sri Mahavishnu’ the four together established the ‘sathyam and dharma’ as detailed by Vedas. To be continued.... Jaisrimannarayana!!
