Guest guest
Shri shrImatE rAmAnujAya namaha shrImate vedAnta desikAya namaha shrImate adivan satakOpaya namaha Dear Bhaktas, Today is Sri Jayanthi. RajagOpalan sri krishnAr, the illustrious 9th avatAram of Srimann Narayanar was born today to vasudeva and devaki. Vasudeva sutam devam kamsa chanura mardhanam devaki paramAnandam krishnam vande jagadgurum!!! With the grace of perumal and purvAcharyas, I will be beginning a series on the bhagavad gita with the bhasya of rAmAnuja. The bhagavad gitA is the foremost among the smrithis of the prasthAna traya. This will be a three part series. The first part will be a brief explanation of the bhagavad gita. The second and third might be clubbed together if time for me is at a premium or for the sake of logical coherence and easy comprehension. One of the main reasons for me to start this series is the understand the gita. Sadly, the present popular version by the gaudiyas is not faithfull to the original. I hope this series will serve as an impetus for bhaktas to undertake a traditional kalakshEpam on the gitam at the feet of acharyas. This series will be useful as an aid to understanding the gitas for those who do not have access to kalakshEpam. With the growth of tradition, there are avenues available for kalakshEpam. Those interested and those who have undergone samAshrayanam, please email me. One post onf Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be the frequency of this series. Time permitting, the frequency will be increased or else will remain at that default. harathu antar dvAntam! hayavadhana heshAhalahalaha !!!
