Guest guest
Sri Parthasarathi thunai Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha, Pranams, Lot of discussion on this topic is going on for the past few days. But unfortunately some interesting and highlighting points in our poorvAcharya vyakhyam has been missed. When we actually go through the vyakhyanams of Sri PVP and other acharyas we will never get the idea to think on our own other than accepting and enjoying the anubhavams given by them. Let us see what PVP says(adiyen is writing based on Sri Velukkudi krishnan swamy's thiruppAvai upanyasam), Cittram siru kAlE! refers to the brahma muhurtha kAlam or the sandhi time between night and sun rise. Why have Andal and the others come in this time? Thats because only at this time they can actually catch krishnan. In the night he is busy doing rasa leela with the gopi's or in some gopi's house(no one knows where he actually is) and as the sun rises he goes behind the cattle. The only time he is free is during the sandhi time. So they have come in the wee hours. Another beautiful reasoning is that the wee hours represent the state of andal. Night represent darkness and it is the state of we jeevatmas who havent realised the relation between us and emperuman and hence ignorant that we have to surrender in his divine feet and hence fast asleep in samsAram. And sunrise refers to the state of the nithya sooris who have understood the truth and has already attained emperuman and has attained the divine glory. But andal is not like the jeevatmas who are ignorant in the dark nor has she attained emperuman already so she is like the sandhi time, after getting the jnanam waiting to reach perumal's feet. What a great anubhavam? Do we need anything more. Let us all try to learn more of our poorvAcharya vyakhyanams and enjoy alwar anubhavams in the line of our poorvAcharyas which will fill us all with extreme joy and finally lead us to the divine feet of emperuman.
