Guest guest
Sri Dear Members, The divya desams in Kerala do not follow either of the Sri Vaishnava Agamas (Pancharatram & Vaikhanasam). This is due to many historical developments. One of them would be Adi Shankara's infulence. Todate, the rituals and mode of worship is coducted according to Tantra ideals. Tantra is quite closely related to Pancharatra Agama (The 'Lakshmi Tantra' is a famous Pancharatra text). The most authoritative work on Tantra in Kerala, which governs modes of worship to this day is 'Tantra Samucchya' written in 1427 CE by Chennas Narayanan Nambudiripad.
