For explanation of the negativity please see the previous post. a. The 'a' series continued: 1. Om a vya angaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 129 occurring in slokam 14 meaning: who has the all perfect body- he has all the angaas of vEdhaas. 2. Om a nilaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 236 occurring in slOkam 25 Also naamaa no.818 occurring in slOkam 87. Meaning: the giver of life breath - the air - all pervading - does not need inducement to bless devotees. - nila - to slip. a-nila -who never slips - omniscient. 3. Om a sath ksharaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 481 occurring in slOkam 51 Meaning: who gives worldly miseries to wiked people. [For sri sankara it is Om asathE nama:-- naamaa no. 479 occurring in slOkam 51 which we have already seen in previous post. Again this ksharaaya is "Om aksharaaya nama" which we saw in 481 along with naamaa no. 17 in previous post. This is the variation between sri Bhattar and Sri sankara. ] 4. Om a mitha vikramaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 519 occurring in slOkam 55 Also naamaa no. 647 occurring in slOkam 68 meaning: for 519 - who has boundless valour for 647 - whose three steps as thri vikrama has no match. 5. Om a jithaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 553 occurring in slOkam 59 meaning: he whose city or abode is unconquerable- unconquered. 6. Om a yOni jaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 580 occurring in slOkam 61 Meaning: one who is not born in a woman's womb in the usual way. sri sankara treats this naamaa as a combined one with previous naamaa vaachaspathi: which gives a meaning - master of all knowledge and who is unborn through a lady's womb. 7. Om a nivarthanE nama: -- naamaa no. 603 occurring in slOkam 64 Meaning: he who does not turn away those who are following the pravruththi dharma - one who never knows any retreat 8. Om a prathi rathaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 645 occurring in slOkam 68 Meaning: matchless in destroying enemies in unobstructed way [ na vidhyathE prathi ratha: aprathiratha:] 9. Om a naamayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 694 occurring in slOkam 73 Meaning: adversary to great disease of samsaara - one who has no diseases physically or mentally. 10. Om a dharpadhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 718 occurring in slokam 76 meaning: the giver of pride 11. Om a dhrupthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 719 occurring in slOkam 76 Meaning: who never exhibits self conceit -his self pride. 12. Om a paraajithaaya nama: -- naamaa no.721 occurring in slOkam 76 Also naamaa 866 occurring in slOkam 92 meaning: the invincible - the unvanquished- never conquered by any one. 13. Om a moorthimathE nama: -- naamaa no. 725 occurring in slokam 77 meaning: he who is subtle and unmanifest or formless. 14. Om a vyakthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 727 occurring in slokam 77 meaning: he who is not manifest. 15. Om a chalaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 751 occurring in slokam 79 meaning: the unshakable or unmovable 16. Om a maaninE nama: -- naamaa no. 753 occurring in slOkam 80 Meaning: he who has no notion of self esteem in dealing with devotees - who has no false vanity. 17. Om a kshObhyaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 807 occurring in slOkam 86 Also naamaa no. 999 occurring in slOkam 107 Meaning: 807 - who could not be shifted or confounded - who is unruffled For 999 - who is unshakeable - who can not be exasperated. 18. Om a moorthayE nama: -- naamaa no.834 occurring in slokam 89 meaning: the formless 19. Om a chinthyaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 836 occurring in slOkam 89 Meaning: he who surpasses all thought and can not be described - can not be comprehended by mind and intellect. 20. Om a Dhruthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 846 occurring in slokam 90 meaning: the uncontrolled -the unimpeded - none supports him. 21. Om a dhamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 865 occurring in slokam 92 meaning: who is never subdued by anybody. 22. Om a yamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 866 [of sankara] occurring in slokam 92 meaning: one who knows no death. 23. Om a niyamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 865 of sankara occurring in slokam 92 meaning: he who is not under laws of any other person. 24. Om a roudhraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 906 occurring in slOkam 97 Meaning: he who is not irate- a cool lord - showing no adverse emotions. 25. Om a krooraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 915 occurring in slOkam 98 Meaning: he who is not cruel but kind in his actions. 26. Om a naadhayE nama: -- naamaa no. 941 occurring in slOkam 101 Meaning: one who is the first cause - brahma and others are not recognising him as master, so he is a naadhayE nama. 27. Om a DhaathrE nama: -- naamaa no.951 occurring in slOkam 102 [for sri sankara] Meaning: above whom there is not one to control or command him. b. the na series: 28. Om na Eka roopaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 272 occurring in slokam 29 meaning: he of multi various forms, of infinite forms. 29. Om na Eka maayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 303 occurring in slokam 33 meaning: he of multi various wonders, of endless forms and variegated. 30. Om na Eka aathmanE nama: -- naamaa no. 469 occurring in slokam 50 meaning: he with diverse forms at the same time, many souled, expressing himself as many. 31. Om na Eka karma kruthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 470 occurring in slokam 50 meaning: he who performs diverse acts, where he is not no action takes place. 32. Om na Ekaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 731 occurring in slokam 78 meaning: the many- who is not only one but many 33. Om na Eka srungaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 769 occurring in slokam 81 meaning: one who has many horns, he whose strategy was manifold 34. Om na Eka dhaaya nama: [for sri bhattar] -- naamaa no. 891 occurring in slokam 95 or Om na Eka jaaya nama [for sri sankara] meaning: the giver of not one but many [ as per sri bhattar].
